Managing Director
James Koo brings over 18 years of experience in technology investment and business leadership across major global markets. He spent the bulk of his career at GIC, Singapore's sovereign wealth fund, where he led technology and regional initiatives spanning the United States, Korea, Japan, China and India.
Following his tenure at GIC, James served as President of Guardtime in Singapore, driving enterprise and government engagement in advanced digital technologies across Asia. He later became CEO of BSG, a company backed by one of Japan's leading conglomerates, where he focused on business growth and regional expansion in digital and enterprise solutions.
James holds an MBA from the Kellogg-HKUST Executive MBA program and a Master of Technology Management from the University of Queensland. He is also an active early-stage investor in deep tech and digital infrastructure startups across Asia-Pacific.

Jimmy Zhu has over 18 years of cross-border investment and operational experience in media and entertainment. He served as Chief Strategy Officer at Digital Domain, a leading visual effects house in Hong Kong, where he raised over $400 million for expansion across China, Canada and India.
Prior to this, Jimmy held various leadership positions at Digital Domain and was a founding member and Senior Vice President at AID Partners, a Hong Kong-based private equity firm. His notable achievements include landmark transactions such as the takeover of Orange Sky Golden Harvest Entertainment and investments in Legendary Pictures and Prime Focus World.
Jimmy also played a key role in establishing Prime Focus World's China joint venture. Before his time at AID Partners, he worked at China International Capital Corporation in Beijing.

Eva Ai has extensive experience in the cultural and entertainment industry, specializing in the end-to-end development and production of films, TV series and short dramas. She has led numerous content projects from concept to launch, with a strong track record in both creative development and operational execution.
Eva has built particular expertise in content planning, team management and process optimization, consistently balancing artistic vision with commercial realities. She operates on a content-first philosophy, ensuring quality and efficiency at every stage of production.

Aleksandr Rubin has over 20 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, and consulting covering a broad range of industries including fintech, media and industrials. After attending American University and successfully exiting from IT consulting business in Washington DC, Aleksandr moved to New York City to pursue a career in investment banking. Since 2019, Aleksandr has been working with a family office successfully deploying over $100 million in various private and publicly traded companies.
Previously, Aleksandr was a Partner and Managing Director at boutique private equity/merchant banking firms where Aleksandr has advised on deal originations, capital deployment, deal structuring and portfolio monitoring. Aleksandr serves on several boards of directors and advisers.

Jonathan Combs is a corporate finance and investment professional with over 18 years of experience executing mergers and acquisitions, capital raises and complex strategic transactions across private and public markets. He has advised companies and investors on buy-side and sell-side M&A, growth equity financings and structured capital solutions, working directly with founders, boards, institutional investors and legal advisors to drive transactions from origination through close.
Jonathan has partnered with bank advisory teams on institutional asset management and M&A mandates and brings deep experience in cross-border transactions, investor positioning and deal execution.
He began his career in global capital markets at a global investment bank and holds a bachelor's degree from Villanova University. Jonathan has served on the boards of publicly listed companies.

Chris Kang has nearly 30 years of experience across global M&A, corporate venture capital and emerging technology strategy at SK Telecom and SK Holdings. He began his career covering Korea and Japan for Iridium's satellite communications business, and went on to participate in landmark transactions including the acquisition of SK Hynix and the strategic investment in China Unicom.
He most recently served as Head of Digital Investment at SK Holdings, building a global CVC platform across AI infrastructure, digital assets, and enterprise software, having structured and co-managed funds alongside ConsenSys (Ethereum co-founder Joseph Lubin) and Republic, with investments including Anthropic. He holds an MBA and Master in Advanced Finance from IE Business School (Madrid) and a Bachelor's in Applied Statistics from Yonsei University, and is fluent in Korean, English and Japanese.

Sun Jen Yung is a Managing Director and leads our Investment Banking advisory practice at Jakota Capital US which is based in New York. Sun's experience of 30 years+ in investment banking includes corporate finance and advisory coverage of Digital Media & Internet, Software, and Media (cable and entertainment) at Nfluence Partners, Headwaters MB, Oppenheimer, TD Securities, Deutsche Bank, Lehman Brothers and J.P. Morgan. She also has experience in Equity Research at Lehman Brothers.
Sun has represented companies in sales to strategic industry leaders including Ericsson, YouTube/Google, Facebook/Meta, SESAC, SOCAN, Spotify, Taboola and Target. On the buyside for M&A her clients include BIC Corporation and LyricFind. Sun's industry coverage includes Creator Economy, Digital Media, Music, Social Commerce, Media Growth and ConsumerTech. She has completed over $38 billion in public (IPOs and follow-ons) and private equity, equity-linked and debt financings and M&A transactions.

Greg Kostura is a Senior Adviser for Jakota Capital US and most recently a Managing Partner at Agia Capital, a financial services firm specializing in investment management and advisory services. Under his leadership, Agia Capital expanded its global presence and diversified its investments.

Rosangi Chang brings over 9 years of experience across investment banking and consulting, covering a broad range of industries with a focus on the United States and Latin America.
She has previously held roles at Bank of America, BBVA, and PwC. Her transaction experience spans M&A advisory, capital raisings, DCM, ECM, and Project Finance.
Rosangi holds an MBA from Cornell University and has passed CFA Level II.

Jolanta Kluzowska is a technology and operations specialist with over 8 years of experience in back-office and controls roles across international companies.
She holds a degree in International Relations with honors from the University of Lodz and is fluent in Polish, Ukrainian, Russian, English, and Italian.

Filipp Skatershchikov has experience in investment research, financial modelling, due diligence, and transaction support across small- and mid-cap equities, special situations and M&A transactions globally, with a particular focus on the U.S. and Hong Kong capital markets.
Previously, Filipp was a Research Analyst at Jakota Capital in Hong Kong and New York, where he supported investment research and transaction execution across Asian and U.S. capital markets.
Earlier in his career, Filipp worked as a Junior Analyst at C Capital, a leading APAC-focused asset management firm, where he contributed to deal sourcing and due diligence across sports, media, technology and e-commerce. He also served as a Junior Analyst at IndexAtlas Group, a Swiss-Singaporean family office, where he worked within the sports business practice.
Filipp holds a Bachelor's degree in World Economy from the Higher School of Economics and a Master's degree in International Management from Geneva Business School.

Mariana Mourawad is a corporate lawyer based in Lisbon with extensive experience in business-focused legal strategy, contract negotiation, and regulatory compliance. She has worked closely with cross-functional teams to align legal frameworks with corporate objectives, with a strong emphasis on operational efficiency and digital transformation.
Over the course of her career, Mariana has led the implementation of electronic signature systems, document automation processes and data protection compliance initiatives, helping improve legal security and operational performance across departments. She combines a strong legal foundation with a strategic mindset and a keen interest in innovation, technology and business development.
Mariana holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Certificate in Business Administration, and is fluent in Portuguese and English.

Andy Liu has over 20 years of experience in finance, cross-border investments and luxury consumer goods across China and Europe, and was an early pioneer in introducing Swiss luxury brands to the Greater China market.
He previously served as Group Overseas CEO of Citychamp Group, where he built the largest private Chinese investment platform in Switzerland, spanning luxury watches, five-star hotels and banking — including a Liechtenstein-based bank with over USD 4.5 billion in AUM.
Andy is Co-founder and Partner of The Corporate Finance Group (TCFG) Zurich, one of Switzerland's leading corporate finance and M&A boutiques, where he has advised on and executing multiple transactions on the SIX Swiss Exchange and Swiss Capital Market. He currently serves as an independent advisor, investment officer and asset manager for Swiss, European and Asian family offices, as well as small- and mid-cap companies.

Jason Chen is part of the Business Development team at Singapac, supporting cross-border investment initiatives, stakeholder communication, and project coordination across Asia and Europe.
Before joining Singapac, he worked at Jakota Capital, where he provided administrative, operational, and bilingual English-Chinese communication support for investment and business development projects, assisting with communications between the company and Chinese counterparties.
Jason studied Law at Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Portugal and has a strong interest in capital markets, M&A, and cross-border investment strategies. He is based in Lisbon and works closely with Singapac’s global teams.
